Our Mission

Hi, my name is Tara Hegde and I'm a high school student. I started Hand to Hearts, a project grew from a simple idea — to bring comfort and kindness to cancer patients during a time when they need it most. I wanted to create something that reminded people they’re cared for, even by those they’ve never met. Every package we put together includes thoughtfully selected toys meant to offer entertainment for patients.

What began as a small effort has become a community of volunteers who give their time and hearts to help others. Together, we’re turning compassion into something tangible — a reminder that care can come from anywhere.

My goal is to keep spreading comfort and connection, one package at a time.
